How it all began...

In 2010, the first annual All Day FORE Africa event was held in Worthington, MN...with only one golfer, under 2 weeks to plan and the grace of God, Kate Lesnar and her community raised $10,380 which was exactly enough money to put in a water system at Nyrashishi Primary School in Kibeho, Rwanda.

That summer, Kate was fortunate to travel to Rwanda with genocide survivor and New York Times best-selling author, Immaculée Ilibagiza. During her pilgrimage, she was able to personally deliver the money she had raised and witnessed first-hand the great need that exists in Africa today.

She returned to the States determined to continue this effort and keep the dream going. A high school golf team in Lincoln, Nebraska was inspired by Kate's story and joined in the cause, raising close to $2,000 for All Day FORE Africa. That same year, several local kids put together "ADFA Sings On" and the idea of KIDS FORE KIDS was born!

Throughout the years, ADFA events have been held across the country in California, Nebraska, Pennsylvania, Colorado, Minnesota as well as Germany. These awesome kids got creative and put together similar events each using their own talents. One 10 year old boy from Lincoln, NE biked 100 miles to raise money for kids he had never met. It really doesn't get any better than that!

In 2013, we adventured out with 49 people on our first ADFA Mission Trip to Kibeho, Rwanda. It was a game changer for ADFA. During the mission, we connected ourselves to the kids in Kibeho through the ADFA Prayer Partner Program and our dedication and commitment to these amazing kids was solidified. We have continued these missions and have seen the growth and progress of the community of Kibeho.

Today, we have kids golfing, swimming, dancing, singing, walking, running, playing volleyball, soccer, biking and doing just about anything they can think of to give children across the globe a hope for a better future!

We will continue to work for the kids of Kibeho and look for more ways to educate kids that they are never too young to make a difference!
