All Day FORE Africa is thrilled to be raising funds to support The Jami Cummings Learn 2 Swim Program in Nobles County because we believe this is another great example of KIDS FORE KIDS!

One day when Jami was on her lunch break, she was driving by the lake and noticed that something wasn't right on the shores of Lake Okabena.  She noticed a woman who was very concerned and decided to stop and see what was happening.  Once she got out of her car, she realized that this woman was pointing to the water where someone was drowning in the lake.

Jami Cummings receives a check from ADFA along with YMCA Board President, Colin O'Donnell and ADFA Representatives, Ethan Meyer and Bailey Alhquist.

Jami ran into the water and swam to the woman.  As she reached down to allow herself to help the woman onto her back, she realized that there wasn't just one woman but also a child on her back.

Through Jami's heroic efforts and the grace of God, these two people's lives were saved that day.

In an effort to ensure that all community members can swim, Jami decided to start The Jami Cummings Learn 2 Swim Program. This exciting program teaches ALL 2nd graders in Nobles County to swim through extensive swimming lessons at the Worthington YMCA.

All 2nd graders are bussed to the YMCA during school hours and there is no cost to the students.  All funds are raised through generous donations throughout the county.

We are pleased to support this worthwhile cause and look forward to continuing our support of The Jami Cummings Learn 2 Swim Program.
